Came to us from a rescue partner in Alberta Canada. He was originally from Texas where he was an emotional support animal for a woman. Her ex husband intentionally ran him over out of spite and rendered him a paraplegic. After going into rescue he was adopted out and returned 4 times. Unbelievable knowing what a wonderful pup he is. The only reason we could think of is the chronic wounds on his hind legs due to compromised blood flow from his injuries. After he came to us we nursed his legs until necrosis took over. We had his hind legs removed and he is now the happiest healthiest little guy. He runs circles around everyone in his wheel chair and has to greet every human he sees. He is truly a special guy. We will be getting him certified as a therapy dog.
