Duncan aka Dashing DuncanCame to us from a rescue foster in Texas. He was a normal pup until about 1 year of age. He started falling over and exhibiting severe neurological symptoms. Wobblers syndrome or canine form of parkinsons. The owner claimed he was kicked by a horse but we will never know for sure. The owner surrendered him to the shelter for euthanasia.The day after he got to our home he had a grand Mal seizure..another symptom of his neurological condition. He continued having seizures his entire life somewhat controlled with phenobarbital until the day we couldn’t get them to stop. Emergency vet was also unsuccessful. We lost him at the young age of 4 succumbing to his condition. He was a big beautiful happy boy with an unmatched fighting spirit that lives on in us.
